OLD Technique - New flavors
Every polkagris is still made the traditional way! The sugar mass is boiled in copper pots, poured onto marble tables, and kneaded by hand until it shines. Then the warm candy is pulled, twisted, and cut with giant scissors into perfect sticks.
The red-and-white peppermint classic is the original, but today Gränna’s candy makers create dozens of exciting flavors, from fruity favorites to chocolate and licorice. What never changes is the craftsmanship: every cane is handmade, one by one, keeping the sweet tradition of Gränna alive.
